Great food! Enjoyed the outside seating along with live band. The waitress was super kind and attentive. Our food came out pretty fast and it was very high quality. The extreme shake was also fun and very tasty. Definitely recommend.

Riverfront dining, creative cocktails and shakes, and live music makes a great combination! Some delicious burgers and incredible jambalaya Mac-n-cheese were the stars for us. The Shipwreck Bloody Mary is a combination cocktail and appetizer, a great way to start!

We stopped on a recommendation and were blown away! We were expecting that the drinks & dessert was going to be the highlight because they make the most incredible drinks and desserts, the food was fantastic too. It was the best (and only) good thing that happened the day we stopped so I am so thankful for the staff. Our waitress went above and beyond to make sure we were happy & the kitchen knocked it out of the park. It's about an hour drive for us, each way, but we are already talking about coming once per month just to try some of the other things on their menu that looked good.

Tried out Kuchie’s on the Water and it did not disappoint! I had the Hawaiian chicken sandwich and my wife went with the Nashville spicy chicken sandwich, both were absolutely amazing. The flavors were spot on, and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere really adds to the experience too, great spot to relax and enjoy some good food. We’ll definitely be back to try more off the menu. Highly recommend checking it out!

Kuchie’s on the Water is a fantastic local spot along the Illinois River that delivers both great food and a relaxing waterfront atmosphere. From the moment you arrive, the laid-back setting and friendly staff make you feel welcome. The river views add something special to the experience, making it a great place to unwind and enjoy a meal. I ordered the cheeseburger dinner, and it was excellent. The burger was cooked perfectly, juicy, and full of flavor, with fresh toppings that complemented it well. The portion size was generous and satisfying, and the sides paired perfectly with the meal. It’s the kind of classic comfort food that’s done right. Beyond the food, the overall experience stood out. The service was attentive and welcoming without feeling rushed, and the casual waterfront environment makes it easy to relax and enjoy your time there. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or spending time with friends and family, the atmosphere makes it memorable. Overall, I would rate the entire experience a 5 out of 5. Great food, great service, and a beautiful riverside setting make Kuchie’s on the Water a place I would definitely visit again and recommend to others. 🍔🌊⭐
